The supply 13.6v setting is a feature unique to the XS7000, this turns the unit into a 13.6v power supply. This can be used for diagnostics when a constant voltage is required or to be connected to the vehicle electrics to avoid loosing security codes and vehicle ECU settings.
The CTEK 7000 is also suitable for the calcium style batteries fitted to some new cars.
